The EU announced this week that they will be imposing a duty on all Chinese Solar PV modules from June 2013, this will be backdated to 6th March.
This has been brought in to combat the alleged dumping of container loads of Chinese modules at cost or less. On one hand this is going to hurt importers greatly.

But we as installers have always specified quality European modules. This does mean that we loose out on contracts because we can not compete on price with companies who are buying budget chinese modules and can offer a much lower price but it means that we stick to our priciple of installing quality products we believe in.

We find that many customers agree with us and quality panels have much better long term investement prospects as the generation figures show.
